Who are you, and what happened to halpert?!

  • I’m Delaney! And I’m still halpert, it’s just, it’s hockey playoffs right now. And I have to pledge my offseason allegiance to the pack with the temporary name change to captain-coyote.

What are the basics to a Delaney?

  • I can’t speak for all Delaney’s, but I’m personally a 21 year old Communication major. My dream is to be a screenwriter, but my other dream is to be able to support myself as an adult, so I’m studying something broad in the hopes of casting a wide enough net to catch a good job.

So you like hockey?

  • Yes. I am in love with hockey. The Phoenix Coyotes are my number one team, with the Boston Bruins tied for the Eastern half of my heart. But, you might occasionally see some Nashville Predators, New York Rangers, Toronto Maple Leafs, and Edmonton Oilers stuff on here. I can assure you, you won’t be seeing any Dallas Stars or Montreal Canadians stuff on here. Nor the Winnipeg Jets. I have nothing against the team, but after that whole… Winnipeg trying to take my team thing, well. We’re not on good terms.

And television? What’s your opinion on that?

  • I love television! I watch way too much of it to be healthy. Right now, my favorite shows are Castle, Parks & Recreation, and Game of Thrones. But I also love the Office, Community, Bones, Raising Hope, New Girl, Revenge, Nikita, Once Upon a Time, and sadly, Real Housewives of New Jersey.

Why are you always so happy?

  • Why not?

No, really, why are you always so happy?

  • Much like Stephanie Brown, I am eternally optimistic. I’ve got a positive outlook. I don’t know why, I just know that I’m happy with my life, even if it’s not shaping up exactly as I had planned.

Are you a lesbian?

  • No, I just occasionally like to capslock over Anna Kendrick, Stana Katic, and Gillian Jacobs. Also, I have a couple of girlships. But I, myself, am not a fan of making out with females. Unless their names are Anna Kendrick, Stana Katic, or Gillian Jacobs.

Wow, you like John Krasinski a bit too much.

  • What’s wrong with objectifying that tall asshole? Have you seen his beautiful face? I mean, it’s like he’s taunting me with his whole marriage thing. (That being said, yeah, I know.)

I’m new to comics, what should I read?

  • One hundred percent behind everyone who loves anything nice in the world reading Stephanie Brown’s run as Batgirl, aka Batgirl Volume 3. Outside of that, I recommend all of the volumes of Batgirl, Nightwing, Teen Titans: the Judas Contract, Marvel: Civil War, Winter Soldier, Tiny Titans, Batman & Robin, Birds of Prey, and you can never go wrong with a little Black Canary.
